St Lucia Photo Safari with Jim & Suzanne Hurst
I first met Kirk Elliott at a photo workshop on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2005. The only reason that I even knew about St. Lucia at the time was that I had been a medial volunteer at St. Jude Hospital in Vieux Fort in 1992.
Fast forward to 2013 when my wife Suzanne and I were looking for a tropical paradise in which to shoot, without the 16 hour plane ride to Hawaii. Actually, on a whim, I emailed Kirk, who immediately responded, “come on down.”
If ever there was a crown jewel in the Caribbean, it has to be St. Lucia. What really made the trip was Kirk.
His knowledge of his native island, its people and its history made this trip, perhaps, the best photo tour I have ever taken. He took us to places, even the most experienced tourist would have difficulty locating.
Bravo, Kirk! I have only one problem; i.e., looking for an excuse to return sooner rather than later.

St Lucia Photo Safari with Pepper Mintz
With the kids all finished school my husband and I love to travel. He likes playing golf and I like shooting pictures so taking Kirk’s photo tour was top of my list of things to do in St Lucia. And was I glad that I took Kirk’s tour.
I learnt more about photography in one day with Kirk than I ever knew before, plus we went places and met people that just would not have happened if I had been on my own.
By the end of the day my head was spinning with all this new stuff and I can hardly wait to tryout the things I learnt while my hubby is out golfing…

My husband and I were so happy that Kirk was our wedding photographer. He is everything you could want in a photographer; professional, reliable, fun, and extremely talented!
He was very accommodating and met with us on several occasions prior to the wedding. He understood what photos and style of photos we were looking for, and was well organized the day of the wedding. He was prompt and efficient and got everyone where they needed to be. The quality of the photos were truly AMAZING.
He really helped to make the day perfect and most importantly, he captured all the great moments throughout the day. Kirk does a great balance of posed shots and candids.
